The Discovery

CHAPTER ONE
The Chase

Once upon a time... It was night when a boy named Josh heard a big crash! He woke up so fast he almost forgot his pants! As he went downstairs he saw a broken bowl. Josh went and told his friends Jenny and Mark. When Josh’s friends came over they were surprised. Mark said ”Hi Josh what happened?” Josh replied ”I don’t know, but we’re going to find out!” Jenny said ”It looks like dog prints. So your dog must of ran out!” Josh replied “So he must of broke my bowl too.” Mark said “Where did it break?” Josh said in the house.” Jenny said “hmm? well we need to find him and fast too, because it’s winter!”

So that morning they all went and followed the foot prints. They saw that the foot prints went into a pet shop! They went in the shop and saw dog treats everywhere! They saw the owner coming so they cleaned up super fast. They hid and Mark said “That was crazy, but where is the rest of the footprints?” Jenny replied “Well maybe we could look in the back.” Then Mark said “Yeah I was really going to say that!” Josh made a giggle. The 3 kids went to the back and saw more footprints!

They next saw the footprints going into a house! Josh said  “Oh brother.” They rang the doorbell and heard “roof roof!” The 3 kids were shocked! But the person who walked out the door was a bully from school! They ran and saw the dog! Josh said ”Look my dog, look!” Jenny then said ”No, no come back!” The kids ran after the dog and the kids got too tired and rested. The kids went and made a little hide out for the night and went to bed.

CHAPTER TWO
Come Down

The next morning the kids woke up and took down the hideout. The kids saw more snow and started to get more worried. Josh said “I’m not liking the snow.” Jenny said “Well tomorrow the snow will all melt at least.” Mark said “ No, the snow will melt, I love snow and it will be harder with out the footprints!” Jenny replied “Oh, no foot prints that’s just what we need now, so we need to find him fast then!” Josh said “Yeah, we really do!”

The kids started to walk when they saw more foot prints! The kids started running and saw the dog asleep! Josh said ”there she is!” Jenny replied hey it’s a she, what’s her name?” Josh said” Her name is Marsa.” Jenny replied “Wow okay!” So then Josh went and picked up Marsa and she woke up and ran strait up the roof! The kids yelled “Hey, come down from there now!” They saw a ladder and went up the roof and the dog jumped off the into the snow running off! So the kids said “No, come back please!”

But then the ladder fell! And they we’re stuck on the roof. The kids where thinking well the dog jumped off, well we could jump off too! So then Mark jumped off the roof and he was under snow! He came out from under the snow and said ”I survived!” The kids giggled and jumped down too. They looked for the dog all day. Later, the kids saw it was almost bed time so they set up their hideout and got ready for bed.

Jenny said “Oh no, there’s no snow tomorrow!” Josh said “Well we could find and read a memory verse.” So they opened up the Bible and read, they found Matthew 19:26 “Jesus looked at them and said, with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Mark said “Wow, well good night guys.” Josh said “good night let me say a prayer. Dear God thank you for this day, help me and my friends to find my dog and get back home safely and Jesus name I pray amen. Good night.” Jenny said “good night.”

CHAPTER THREE
Where is He?

Mark woke up saying “good morning, good morning! ”Josh replied “good morning Mark!” Jenny also woke up saying “good morning, so how are we going to find him?” Josh replied “I don’t know, does it say it will snow later?” Jenny replied “50% chance or so, maybe.” Mark said “enough talking, lets go!” So the kids got ready, put the hide out down and started looking.

So when the kids started looking around Mark saw dog hair! The kids started following the hair. As they walked they saw Marsa! The kids saw her asleep again and Mark said “Well what if he gets on a roof again?” Jenny replied “There needs to be snow to get up there!” Mark said “Oh.” So Josh picked her up and saw it wasn't her! Josh dropped that dog so fast he couldn’t breath! As Josh dropped her, the dog ran away. So the kids walked and walked miles and miles just looking for the dog but as they were walking they began to feel snow!

Mark was so happy the snow was back, he started dancing and singing in the snow. As Mark was dancing in the snow he saw something that looked like Marsa! As the dog was running, they saw Marsa having fun, safe and sound. But then the dog ran off with the other dog. The kids chased him and chased him and chased him.  Mark said  “This is never going too stop!”

CHAPTER FOUR
There You Are!

They chased him and chased him and chased him! Later the dogs finely stopped. James dog was hiding behind the other dog and it was a boy! Jenny realized that they love each other! So the kids stepped back a little for space. The dog followed the kids so Mark said “Hey, if we keep walking you could get them home.” Jenny said “Great idea!” Mark replied “Thanks.”

When Mark and Jenny went back home James took the other dog for himself. So when James got home he gave water and food to the dogs. James left home and went to the store. He got food and water for himself and for the dogs. But when he got home he heard more than two dogs barking in the house!

CHAPTER FIVE
Four Dogs

When Josh got home he saw two puppies and two dogs! Josh went back to the store and got more food. He came back home and said “I need to name you three!” Josh named the boy dog Jack! He was thinking of other names for the puppies he called one Jake, who was a boy. He named the girl Sara! So Josh called his friends and said “I have puppies, come over now!”

When Jenny and Mark came over they also brought dog treats. Each puppy got one and each dog got two. Jenny was sitting by the fire and said “You need a cage for the puppies!” Josh replied “They don’t need one because there Golden Retrievers!” Jenny said back too him “Wow, good dogs you have then!" The kids played with the dogs all day and Mark and Jenny went back home.

The kids and the dogs went to bed but before he went to sleep, he said a prayer “Dear God thank you for making a dog family. I know you meant to do this.  Lord, thank you for doing this blessing.  Jesus name I pray amen.”
